Toni Kathleen Manocheo Flynn

My life has been very blessed both during and after my years at St. Monica's High School. I still value my friendships and experiences with the Class of '64 and the Holy Name nuns who taught me.I was married to David Gossman (also Class of '64) for twelve years and during that time we had four fabulous children David II, Mark, Shannon, Heather.

Thanks to my children and their respective spouses, I boast six grandchildren with another on the way Garrett and Gannon (David and Tiffany), Andrew (Mark & Susan), Calem and Karley (Shannon and Joe), Dante and his soon-to-be brother or sister (Heather and Juan). In 1980, the children and I settled in a lovely beach town in San Luis Obispo County where I still live and work. After children all grew up and moved on, I became involved in the Catholic Worker Peace Movement; authored a book and continue to publish essays and poetry; enjoyed a brief yet lovely second marriage; travelled abroad to such beautiful places as Italy, Thailand and Ireland. Later this year, I will retire from SLO County Mental Health Services where I've worked with homeless people and women incarcerated in the local jail. Even with challenging times stirred into the pot, it's been - and remains - a rich and fulfilling life. Truly, I am grateful for every minute of it.
